It is with great sadness I write this letter. Lisa Wagner of Rocking W Aussies passed away unexpectedly on 6/12/2010. She was not only a wonderful Aussie mentor, but a great friend. Lisa has several adult Aussie that will need to be placed in homes. Several of her dogs will be looking for Pet homes. All Available Aussies are posted on her website. Please have a look and contact me if there is someone you are interested in. God Bless!

Here at King's Ferry Aussie's we are not a kennel! We currently own 7 Aussies, 1 crazy Bluetick Coonhound, and 1 sweet little Bloodhound. We strive for health & happiness in our Adults and so much more in our puppies. Our number 1 goal is to produce a very well rounded Aussie. Temperment is the biggest concern to me & I know to other people. We also breed to better the Aussie. All our Aussies live together & everyone gets along great. Our dogs have never been viscious to people or small children. Four of our Aussies come from WTCH & CH bloodlines & are natural herders. Second we breed for herding & bidability. Third we breed for conformation. I hope you enjoy your visit.
We only breed & raise Australian Shepherds. We do not breed for Bluetick or Bloodhound puppies! Aussie & Glory are our hunting/companion dogs. I like to focus on one breed only. However, Aussie & Glory have a future in showing for a CH title in conformation.
*NOTE TO FUTURE PUPPY/DOG BUYERS*
When you are looking online for your future puppy or maybe even an adult. Please make sure you visit the sellers home & get to know the parents of your future puppy, or if purchasing an adult please meet the dog before you buy. Unfortunately people are dishonest & will tell you how wonderful there dog is only for you to find out that the puppy/dog is not at all how they described. This will save you much heartache!
So please be aware and do proper research!
Please also note. When you are looking at Aussies they only come in 4 recognized Standard colors.
They are Black Tri, Red Tri, Red Merle, & Blue Merle all can be with or without White or Copper markings.
BEWARE of people saying they have a rare color. Blue Tri's are dilute's and should be sold on a spay/neuter aggrements only and you should be made aware of this issue. They are not breed standard and he/she must be fixed in order to prevent this from being passed to the next generation. This also applies for Yellow Aussies.
There is nothing wrong with buying a Dilute or Yellow just be cautious of the price. I know of one breeder who has a Dilute she is selling as a Blue Tri, saying his color is unusual, and he comes with a hefty price tag of $1,500. That is just outrageous, or in my eyes it is! Please, Please, pay attention to every detail of a breeder, and guard yourself against people that are just trying to make a buck and don't have there Aussies future home at best interest.
Just keep a mental note Dilutes, Yellows, Sables, All Whites, & Brindle Aussies are not Rare so don't fall for this!
Check out ASGHI they have a wonderful website full of great Aussie knowledge and genetic information.
